Company History

Founded by hospitals for hospitals

The Qualivis mission is grounded in its history as a company founded by hospitals for hospitals. It was established in 2002 as a division of the South Carolina Hospital Association to help meet staffing needs of member hospitals by developing a streamlined process for hiring high-quality supplemental staff.

It has grown steadily to become a national provider of access to highly trained, quality healthcare professionals for hospitals and health systems across the nation. Qualivis partners with state hospital associations to earn preferred-program status, assuring healthcare facilities that the company has been thoroughly vetted for quality, cost-effectiveness and customer service.

Previously known as Healthcare Staffing Services, it was rebranded in 2018 to reflect its growing scope of services and national impact. What hasn’t changed is its focus on simplifying staffing and minimizing bureaucracy by serving as single gateway between healthcare facilities and more than 100 staffing agencies nationwide. Qualivis offers a standardized system for finding high quality healthcare professionals for virtually every clinical and non-clinical position in every department. All agencies that provide clinical staff are certified by the Joint Commission, providing added quality and compliance assurance.
